"Take me away, to a secret place" ... a place where joy flows and the sunshines and my heart overflows with emotion and confidence in my God! Sometimes this seems like a secret place; hard to find- elusive. But on days that I manage to find it and bask there, I never want to leave. So why does it have to be a secret place? It doesn't. This amazing place... this place of wide open fields and peacefulness where I can be who God has called me to be without reservation, appears when I am/ when my heart is content in my Heavenly Father. It's in this place that fear and all anxiousness of life's trials and ugliness are overshadowed by the glorious, amazing light of contentment and thankfulness in and through Jesus! I will visit here more and more often and hopefully, prayerfully, it will become more of a home than just a place to visit. It's getting closer.
~This is what I saw in my mind's eye as I heard a song this morning with a line in it that sang, "...take me away, to a secret place, a sweet escape..." which also followed my daily chapter called "The Secret" (from the Resolution Revolution).
I love the imagery of how God speaks to me! He is so amazing!
