...Today I am 37.
...Today I will celebrate with my family. I will have the dinner of my choice and the cake of my choice. (which by the way is German Chocolate) THANKS Mom!
...Today I have already received 30+ birthday wishes from friends and family on facebook. THANKS everyone!
...Today I may receive a card or two in the mail and I may even receive a gift.
...Today, however, I consider to be a gift... the milestone of another year that I am healthy and provided for and loved.
...Today I am also reminded of the children in this world, orphans and others, who may never have the joy of receiving birthday wishes, gifts, etc... who maybe never have or never will... and who maybe don't even know when their birthday is. I wish I could buy the biggest birthday cake imaginable along with birthday hats and whistles and take them to celebrate with these children. To have one big birthday bash to celebrate each one of us today and the fact that we have life TODAY!
...SO, today my heart yells, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY Children of the World... your Heavenly Father loves you and is thinking of you and loving you today!"
(I wish you could really hear me. Know that I pray for you everyday!)
