I so often find myself asking this question. And so often I think to myself that i just can't see it... I know He's got a plan but I just wonder what He's doing... I want to see the big picture. And sometimes that can lead to discouragement.
But what if instead of trying to see it all right now, I were to look at what I see Him doing today? Now that is something I can take note of.
I see Him working in my kids lives in amazing ways. I see softening in their spirit and hearts that are more open to Him. They are doing devotions (without being told) and praying and actually praying for whoever comes to their minds.
I see more compassion in them towards others.
I see their relationship with each other as more positive... definitely less quarreling and picking at each other.
I see God working in my heart in more definitive ways. He is putting passion for certain people/places in my heart.
I see my husband more open to things God may have that are outside the box.
I see our family growing closer together.
He is at work in each one of us individually and as a whole.
What does the big picture look like? I don't know, but the glimpses I'm getting from this viewpoint are good!
